“How Great Thou Art” is such a wonderful portrayal of the gospel story. It captures this lovely balance between informative, poetic verses and the soaring, soulful chorus sung in response to that good news. This is definitely one worth memorizing.

Back in November, Jarred Cain and I went into the studio with some friends to record five songs. This summer that project will come to its completion. We’re excited to share that with you all and can’t wait for you to hear what we’ve been working on.

This past Sunday I had the honor of preaching at Calvary Baptist Church in Bristol PA. I’m slowly making my way through all the Psalms so I taught on Psalm 6. One of the things that stood out to me is that this Psalm gives us the words to ask God “How long?”… a great question for us to ask in these turbulent times.

This month we’ll be singing a beautiful setting of Psalm 23 called “My Shepherd Will Supply My Need”. My hope is that you will be encouraged by these words, knowing that whatever you face you can find comfort in Christ.
A few weeks back I had the honor of giving a mini sermon during our Good Friday service. This sermon focuses on Christ in the garden, His prayer, and the resounding “no” that He received as an answer. If you want to hear the whole sermon check out the video below. I start preaching around 20 minutes.
